Proficiency Testing
2007 - Participated in and successfully completed the proficiency testing program of the Forensic Expertise Profiling Laboratory at Latrobe University in Australia. The FEPL manufactures casework style tests which are used to provide numerical assessments of forensic handwriting specialists' skill and expertise.

Laboratory
Fully equipped forensic document laboratory which includes, a stereo-microscope, Miscope IR digital microscope, magnifying lamp, various other magnifying devices, light box, light sources and filters, numerous measuring devices, cameras (digital and 35mm), computers, scanner, printer, and various computer software.

Forensic Training and Experience
Along with his extensive and continuous training in document examination, Roy Fenoff has numerous hours of work further strengthening his training and knowledge of the theories and principles involved in the process of identification.
As a forensic scientist and expert Roy has used the scientific method each and every day, and has taught these principles and theories to other students. Because the principles involved in the identification process applies to the examination of any kind of physical and biological evidence, Roy has been fortunate enough to apply these principles to a variety of scientific disciplines.
Roy has more than 2 years of training in forensic anthropology under Dr. George Gill, University of Wyoming Researcher and Wyoming State Forensic Anthropologist. Training includes; Forensic anthropology, forensic osteometrics, human variation, and human osteology.
Roy received his Entomology degree from the University of Georgia, which, based on nationally accepted ranking assessments, is among the top Entomology programs in the country. Roy has taught courses in medical entomology, veterinary entomology, and given numerous lectures on forensic entomology and the use of arthropods in criminal investigations.
Other areas Roy has researched and or presented findings on include the biological aspects of crime, criminal behavior, Resume Fraud, Identity Theft and various handwriting and document examination topics. Roy also has current ongoing research with the scientific examination of questioned documents and disguised writing.
